I was excited and looking forward to visiting this Building the moment I'd spotted it from its South aspect.
Strangely, after an initial walk through and later an extended second visit I can't see how it could possibly be habitable -just moving through the rooms or taking a single flight of the stairs generated enough static electricity in each of the occupants (visitors) to produce frighteningly audible, bright blue and quite painful sparks when coming in contact with 'any' of the interior surfaces.
Hmmmm...

Sure they can be built over a basement - almost all houses in Germany come with basements. We own a 1970s (one of the very first) Huf houses in Germany, and the basement worked very well as an integral part of the house

I am interested in knowing the exact name and a little more on your prefab home above with the heading "Marmol Radziner to Target Lower Price Point
May 12, 2008 at 11:31 am ·Tags: California, Marmol Radziner, US
" and this blog "Curbed LA is reporting that Marmol Radziner, a preeminent prefab producer, is seeking to target a lower price point than their current one which is about $400/sq. ft. The blog reports that the new price point will be between 20-25% cheaper than what is currently on offer". I am looking at some options on how to get this prefab home to be built in Australia.Any suggestions and cost will be appreciated.
Kind regards
Jacqueline
