Rustic Reuse Cabin

Many buyers of modern prefab homes purchase them because of the fact that they deliver sustainable, modern architecture and the ease and convenience of a home that is easily constructed (if not assembled prior to delivery).  Paul and Scott Stankey, the people behind hive Modular, built the rustic reuse cabin over the course of 9 years at a total cost of $15,000.  One of the containers is used for sleeping while the other doubles as a kitchen and storage room.  Stankey claims, according to ReadyMade Magazine, that he hopes to eventually turn the design into a prefab cabin available for purchase through hive Modular.

Container Condos in Salt Lake City by Adam Kalkin

Jetson Green has an interesting post on an Adam Kalkin mid-rise container building in Salt Lake City:

The project was designed by none other than Adam Kalkin, container architecture expert, and will be called City Center Lofts.  The green, ultra-modern condo building will have eight units and a ground level art gallery.
