The long awaited MoMA Home Delivery exhibit has been open for over a week now. If you’ve had the chance to visit or even examine their site, we’d really like to know what you think. Has the exhibit succeeded in extolling the virtues of the modernist prefab movement? How is it effective? How isn’t it? What were you hoping to see?

First installed in Australia, New York based System Architects’ BURST* 003 set out to completely stray from the typical prefabricated home and all of the stigmas attached to it. It certainly seems as though this aim was achieved.
a hybrid solution the H1 is not a prefab per se, but a combination of three construction systems. A factory built module (2 x 12′ second floor modules), a site-assembled exposed wood frame kit and a site-built insulated concrete structure, which also includes the foundation and basement.
