Rustic Reuse Cabin
Many buyers of modern prefab homes purchase them because of the fact that they deliver sustainable, modern architecture and the ease and convenience of a home that is easily constructed (if not assembled prior to delivery). Paul and Scott Stankey, the people behind hive Modular, built the rustic reuse cabin over the course of 9 years at a total cost of $15,000. One of the containers is used for sleeping while the other doubles as a kitchen and storage room. Stankey claims, according to ReadyMade Magazine, that he hopes to eventually turn the design into a prefab cabin available for purchase through hive Modular.
